About Us

Dun Laoghaire Enterprise Centre is a non-profit organisation which was founded in 1986 when the economic climate was very much like it is today. A group of local volunteers from both the public and private sector got together in an effort to create self employment. By offering advice and funding to  local entrenpreneurs it has helped people create their own jobs through self-employment. However, it quickly became evident that a critical difficulty for start-up businesses was finding affordable workspace.
